Switch the lights back on
Switch WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG on in wp-config.php, or open the server error log in cPanel. A white screen is an error with the message hidden; your first job is to go and read the message.

Look at what changed last
The blank page nearly always follows an action — an update, a new plugin, an edit to a template. Whatever you did most recently is the prime suspect until the log says otherwise.

Switch plugins off from outside
Rename wp-content/plugins in File Manager and everything deactivates at once. If the site returns, rename it back and re-enable one plugin at a time until the guilty one owns up.

Try one of the default themes
If the plugins come back innocent, rename the active theme's folder so WordPress falls back to a bundled one. A fatal error in a theme looks exactly the same from the front.

Check the dull explanations
PHP memory exhausted, a corrupted .htaccess, or an update that stopped halfway. Raise the memory limit, regenerate .htaccess by re-saving permalinks, or run the update again — in that order.

Why do I get a blank page rather than an error message?
Production PHP hides error output on purpose, because error text leaks details of your setup to whoever is looking. The fatal error still happened; its message went to the log rather than the screen. Debug mode simply redirects it somewhere you can read.
The dashboard will not load at all — how do I fix anything?
Everything above is done from outside WordPress. cPanel's File Manager renames plugin folders, edits wp-config.php and opens the error log without needing the dashboard at all. Being locked out changes the tools, not the method.
Can I test changes somewhere safe first?
Yes — plans with staging let you clone the live site, work on the copy, then push it across when you are satisfied. It is the difference between hoping an update behaves and knowing that it does before any customer meets it.
Can I bring a domain I already own?
Yes, and transfers in are routine. Unlock the name at your present registrar, collect the auth code, then start the transfer from your client area. Whatever registration time is left comes across with it, and DNS keeps answering the whole way through.
