Domain prices, explained
Why does the renewal figure not match the register figure?
Registries put an introductory rate on year one. What a name genuinely costs to hold is the renewal, and that is the figure worth planning around. So we print the pair side by side, and you can weigh the long-term number instead of chasing a first-year discount.
Is WHOIS privacy really included?
It is included: every eligible domain, from day one, for as long as the name stays yours, and it never shows up as a charge anywhere. Your contact details come out of the public listing without you asking for it.
How many endings can I choose from?
More than 500. That runs from the everyday .com, .net and .org through to .io, .dev, .store and .tech. The table here holds the ones people ask after most often; type any name into the search and live figures come back for the rest.
Is there a discount for registering several years in one go?
Each year you pay for up front is charged at the yearly figure on display, and once that runs out the posted renewal rate takes over. A term you have already settled cannot rise partway through it.
Is anything added at the checkout?
No. Whatever figure sits beside an ending is what your card gets charged, in USD. No setup fee. Nothing compulsory bolted on, and no mystery line at the bottom: privacy and DNS management are already inside that number.
If I transfer a domain in, what price do I end up on?
The name lands on our published renewal figure, and with most endings a year gets added to whatever time was still on the clock. Your site carries on serving throughout the move, so nothing goes dark.
