Does the price climb once the first year runs out?
No, and you don't have to trust us on it. Scroll up: the table shows both numbers before you put anything in the basket. What sits in the renewal column is what we bill from the second year on. Some endings, .xyz being the obvious one, discount the opening twelve months; when they do, plan your budget around the ordinary renewal figure printed next to it. There is no line kept back to surface on a later invoice.
Is WHOIS privacy genuinely free?
Yes, properly free. Wherever the registry permits it, the shield switches on by itself, and that means most gTLDs, .com and .net and .org among them. In the public record your actual name, postal address, email and phone number give way to masked stand-ins, and we charge nothing for the swap. That one change kills off a fair slice of the junk mail and cold calling that domain owners otherwise inherit. Certain country-code endings ban privacy outright, a rule set by their own operators; those are the exceptions.
Has the ICANN fee already been added in?
Already included. Every generic ending pays a mandatory ICANN levy, currently about $0.18 a year, and we bake that sum into both the register and renewal prices shown on this page. Nothing gets stacked on at checkout.
I bought my domain elsewhere. Can it move over to you?
Most of the time, yes. First switch the registrar lock off where the name sits now, then ask them for the EPP auth code and begin the move from our transfer page. Any standard gTLD transfer tacks on a full extra year of registration, billed at the normal renewal rate. Two ICANN conditions apply: the domain must already be 60 days old, and it cannot have moved registrar within the previous 60 days.
How quickly can I put the domain to work?

The oldest trick in hosting is a cheap first year followed by a quiet increase. Can I transfer a domain away later?
Yes, and there is no argument about it. Unlock the name in the panel, request the auth code and it appears straight away. Registry rules stop a name moving within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer, but that clock belongs to the registry, not to us.
How soon can I be up and running?
Checkout provisions the account automatically — minutes rather than days. If there is an existing domain to bring across, our migration team usually finishes inside 24 hours and times the switch so nothing goes dark.
Will the price change at renewal?
The same tag, the same amount. We do not run an introductory price that quietly doubles once you have settled in.
Is a domain registration refundable?
No registrar can offer one — the registry claims the name the second the order goes through, so this is an industry rule rather than a house rule. Read the spelling twice before you confirm. The renewal figure is printed beside the first-year price, so at least year two never catches you out.
