How does the free domain work?
One domain name comes registered free for its first year with every hosting package. Add a new .com, .net, .org, .xyz or .info to the same order as your plan and the first-year registration drops off at checkout, with no code to type and nothing to claim later. Plain terms: one free domain per hosting order, and only where it's bought alongside hosting, because a domain ordered by itself is charged as normal. From year two the name renews at our standard rate, which sits on the domain pricing page long before you reach the till. Already hold a domain of your own? Point it here, or transfer it in; the free year covers new registrations. Billing runs annually on every plan, so each order qualifies, and since hosting renews at the price you started on, year two brings only the domain's own renewal fee.
Can I upgrade later on?
Whenever suits you, and the change is meant to pass without drama. Upgrades take effect immediately from the client area: choose the larger tier, pay the pro-rated difference on whatever remains of your term, and the site never goes offline. Nothing gets rebuilt. No second migration, no re-pointing of the domain; your files, databases, mail and settings stay put while the resources behind them grow. In practice, start on Launch while the project is small, then move up to Pro or Elite on the day you actually need the room, rather than paying for capacity sitting idle. Should things go quiet again, you can drop back a tier when the next renewal comes round.
